Top Six Ski Resorts

There are several top ski holidays for any skier – beginner or advanced.

Telluride is still an up-and-coming resort town with high-speed gondolas, two triple chairlifts, two Magic Carpets, and one of the West’s biggest snowboard parks.

Park City is a true ski-in/ski-out town with a big-city feel to it boasting shopping and restaurants. The resort boasts the famous Kids Signature 5 Program, the first ski school in the U.S. to guarantee class sizes of five or less children.

Sun valley is America’s first ski resort has been drawing people since 1936. Ketchum draws a crowd and they offer the best of everything.

Copper Mountain is one resort that segregates skiers into different levels, keeping the beginners away from advanced skiers. The free snowcat shuttle runs skiers and boarders to the ridge of Tucker Mountain, where you can find some spectacular scenery and skiing.

Vail is all things to all skiers. The resort town has more groomed terrain than any other resort on the planet. They also have Adventure Ridge, a place that offers night skiing and snowboarding, sledding, tubing, ice skating, and dining.

Aspen is made up for four distinct skiing regions and has a town scene that in pulls celebrities and star gazers.  They are known for their customer service. This is not for beginners as the easiest slopes on Aspen Mountain are for intermediates.
