If you are near Quebec, there are one to four flights each day offered by Continental Airlines.  The flight is only just under two hours long, so you won’t need to take too much time out of your schedule.  There is also no time difference between Quebec and New York, so there is no need to worry about jetlag.  Flights leave between 5.55am and 5.03pm every day.

If you are near Toronto, you are really spoilt for choice, with between 33 and 56 flights each day.  A flight from Toronto only takes just over an hour and a half, again without any time difference.  Flights are offered by Air Canada, Porter Airlines, American Airlines, Air Canada and Delta and leave between 6.20am and 23.30pm, so you should be able to find a flight at some point during the day.

From Vancouver, there are only one or two flights each day, offered by Air Canada and Cathay Pacific.  Flights take just over five hours and depart between 3.40pm and 9.55pm.  There is a considerable time difference between Vancouver and New York, but because of the time the flights leave, you should not feel any disruption in your day, other than being a little bit tired by the time it is evening.

As you can see, you should have no issues making your way to New York from Canada if you are hoping to witness the epic fight on the 3^rd of December. If you remain at home you can watch boxing live online or on your TV.

Monterey is also a great family vacation destination, with many activities the kids will love. For example, the Bay Aquarium has the most beautiful displays of marine life, and just near by is a giant kid’s park, appropriately named Dennis the Menace Park.

The restaurants in Monterey are also top quality, with plenty to choose from, and some of the best Mexican dishes around. The trip into Monterey is also worth the while, heading up highway 101 will give you plenty of amazing views of the famous coastline. Monterey Lighthouse Ave., Ocean View Blvd, Sunset Dr will give you great scenic routes from Fisherman’s Wharf to Cannery Row. You can also see Lover’s Point and around the peninsular is Pebble Beach and Carmel, which makes for an amazing road trip. You will have plenty to see before you even get into the city, with so many sights to see from your car window, or on commute from the airport.
